Admissions Policy
All swimming pools have to have a written policy on how old children have to be before they can go swimming unsupervised and on how many children an adult can supervise in the pool.
In the main pool, because of its depth, one adult can supervise a maximum of two 4 - 7 year olds. Children under 4 must be supervised on a one to one basis.
Here our policy is that children must be at least 8 years old before the can swim without an adult. If a child is under 8 they must have an adult with them who must go in the pool and supervise them.
In the learner pool, one adult can supervise a maximum of two children any age under 8. For more details please ask at reception for a copy of our Child Admission Policy.
