Assistance in Accessing Facilities
Haltemprice Leisure Centre offers a wide variety of activities. Staff are aware that there are many different disablilties and many of our activities may suit some and not others, but we hope and aim to offer something for everyone. We welcome all customers and are happy to assist any customers who need help to access the facilities.
To make our Tone Zone more accessible to everyone, the equipment is fitted with instructions and Instructors are on hand to help.
We have a number of facilities specifically for customers with disabilities, such as: -
Reserved car park spaces
Ramp access to the centre
Wheelchair entrance
Disabled changing and toilet facilities
Lift access to first floor facilities
1st floor disabled toilet
Wheelchair access to poolside and assistance in and out of the pool if required.
We can also arrange for information to be sent out in larger print or brail on request.
