Aerobic

What is it?

Aerobic means air and oxygen. In aerobic classes, you should still be able to carry out a normal conversation while exercising. If you are struggling to breath while talking, you are probably working anaerobically. When working anaerobically, you will tire faster and your muscles are likely to be sore once the exercise is over.

East Riding Leisure Haltemprice offers two different aerobic classes: Triple Taster and Healthy Lifestyles.

Healthy Lifestyles

Our healthy lifestyles sessions are aimed at people who want to start taking regular exercise, have help with weight loss and learn about healthy eating. These classes are an excellent way to start exercising.

Benefits

Apart from being an excellent accompaniment to aid weight loss, aerobic exercise improves muscle tone and increases the efficiency of your heart and lungs. It is also known that aerobic exercise helps to improve your mood and reduce stress levels.
